Theme customiser

To help marketers move faster, we're continually upgrading our Theme Customizer with new features. This quarter, here's what we're diving into:

Consistent app design

Any new block or customization added to the Home screen will maintain better consistency. This includes elements like rich text, call-to-action buttons, headings, background colors, and text styles. Moreover, users will find configuration options that align with the rest of the app's interface.

Bottom bar customization

Customize the bottom bar by adding, editing, or deleting tabs along with their icons

Product card tags

Take charge of the tags displayed on your Product cards straight from our dashboard.

Quantity restriction

Quantity restrictions can be applied on products based on specific tags, providing merchants with flexible control over orders

App preview with Test notifications

Preview changes within the app without hitting publish. Additionally, test out Push notifications before your campaign launch.


Faster checkout

Faster checkout means more conversions, and we're all about making that happen. Here's what we're cooking up to enable lightning-fast checkouts:

Checkout pre-loading

The app will load the checkout in the background even if the user has not started checkout yet, reducing the transition time.

Bottom sheet checkout

Minimum hindrance by opening checkout in the bottom sheet instead of going to a separate page.

Address input

For first-time customers, we're streamlining the address input by minimizing the number of steps.


Dynamic cross-sell

Increase AOV by dynamically cross-selling products to your high-intent users. This is how it will work:

  • Show complimentary/related collections on the cart which can be changed on cart value and can be offered at a discounted price.

  • Users will only be able to add a product from the collection when the cart exceeds the specified threshold amount.

  • If they add the product to the cart and then make changes to reduce the cart value below the threshold, the products from the promo collection will be automatically removed.


Better converting cart

Abandoned carts equal lost revenue, plain and simple. Here's our game plan this quarter for slashing cart abandonment and keeping that revenue flowing:

Discount communication

  • Increased prominence of total discount displayed on each order.

  • Improved visibility of product-level discounts, whether automated or from coupons.

  • Clearer and more user-friendly messages regarding the applicability of offers.

App-only automatic discount

Now, our app will also support app-only automatic discounts with auto-application of coupon codes. This will also give app users flexibility to opt out of discounts by removing the coupon from their cart and can also be combined with other discounts.

Improved line item display for varied product types

Differentiating line items in the cart to reflect various product types, including:

  • Product Add-ons

  • Free products are included with an order

  • Subscription-based products

  • Gift wrapping options for orders

Cart goals

Create an animated progress bar that updates based on customer actions, encouraging them to increase their cart value towards a set goal, such as free shipping. Merchants can specify the goal amount, and as customers add products or adjust quantities in their cart, the progress bar dynamically reflects their progress towards the goal.


Upgraded gift

Free products boost customer satisfaction. This quarter, we’re adding more use cases to offer products for free to customers:

  • Choose a gift from multiple products

  • Provide free products with specific items

  • Conditional free product on items quantity in cart

Moreover, quantity adjustments will be restricted for free products and users will have an option to opt out of a gift.


Better insights

Dive deep into how your customers are using the app. Here's what we're adding to our analytics suite:

Product Listing

Track Product impressions and measure Product CTRs on the app to understand user preferences.

Empty queries

  • Get insights on empty search results queries

  • Get insights on the empty sort and filter results

Push campaigns

Push campaigns and flows insights - check how campaigns and flows like abandoned cart, and back in stock are performing

Interactive video

We're ramping up the interactivity of the app with videos. Here's what we're bringing in.

  • Automatic adjustment of video block to various screen resolutions, akin to our image block.

  • Video support within the product carousel on the Product Display Page (PDP).

  • Video support into the PDP merchandising.


Push

Push notification is a powerful tool for free marketing. We’re adding contextual prompts within the app to increase the push subscription rate.

  • When a user clicks on ‘Notify me’ for out of stock product

  • When a user completes a purchase
