The Nector integration enables a coin-based loyalty program within your mobile app, complete with VIP tiering and referral capabilities. Customers can earn coins through purchases and other actions, view their balance and transaction history, redeem coins for rewards, refer others to earn bonuses, and progress through VIP levels for exclusive benefits.

This setup is designed to drive repeat purchases, increase user engagement, and reward customer loyalty through a multi-layered reward system.

Configuration

To configure the Nector integration, your team will need to provide access credentials and review the setup before launch.

Required Credentials

  • API Key – for read operations

  • Write API Key – for write operations

  • App Install Trigger ID – used to award coins when users install the app

Setup Timeline

The Nector integration follows a four-step process:

Step 1: Brand Shares Credentials

Provide the following:

  • API Key (read access)

  • Write API Key (write access)

  • App Install Trigger ID

Step 2: Appbrew Setup (5–7 business days)

Appbrew will:

  • Set up API authentication and endpoints

  • Deploy UI components for:

    • Coin tracking

    • Reward redemption

    • VIP program views

    • Referral flows

  • Style the interface to match your brand

  • Run tests on:

    • Coin earning logic

    • Reward redemption

    • VIP tier display and progression

    • Referral tracking

    • Cart-based coin calculation

    • General error handling

Step 3: Brand Testing

Your team will validate:

  • Coin accrual accuracy

  • Redemption flows and coupon application

  • Referral code behavior

  • VIP program tiers and benefits

  • Cart integration (coin earnings displayed at product and cart level)

Tiers are defined and managed in your Nector dashboard. The app will reflect the user’s current tier, benefits, and progress automatically.

Q: Can customers redeem a partial amount of coins at checkout?

Yes. Dynamic coin redemption allows users to choose how many coins they want to apply, based on eligibility.
