The Loyalty Lion integration allows you to offer a structured, points-based loyalty program directly within your mobile app. Customers can earn points for actions, view their balance, track transaction history, and redeem rewards through fixed coupon codes. This integration brings a seamless loyalty experience into the app while helping you build long-term engagement with your customer base.

Configuration

To configure the Loyalty Lion integration, your team will need to provide secure access credentials and review the setup before going live.

Required Credentials

  • API Token – required for authentication

  • API Secret – used for secure API communication

These credentials allow the app to access your Loyalty Lion account and perform actions like retrieving balances and redeeming rewards.

Setup Timeline

The integration follows a 4-step implementation process:

Step 1: Brand Shares Credentials

You’ll need to provide:

  • API Token

  • API Secret

These are needed to authenticate and access Loyalty Lion's API (v2).

Step 2: Appbrew Setup (5–7 business days)

Appbrew will:

  • Implement points tracking and reward redemption logic

  • Deploy UI components styled to your brand

  • Conduct tests on:

    • Points earning calculations

    • Redemption process

    • Coupon code application

    • Transaction history visibility

    • Error scenarios and stability

Step 3: Brand Testing

You’ll test:

Points updates may take a moment to sync. Make sure the action was completed successfully and the user is logged in. For further issues, check the API logs or contact support.

Yes. The integration includes transaction history, showing both earned and redeemed points.

Q: Can coupon codes be customized or limited by time/use?

Coupon generation and management are handled by Loyalty Lion. If your plan includes such controls, they’ll be applied through your Loyalty Lion settings.

Q: Is the rewards UI customizable?

Yes. The rewards and profile screens can be styled to reflect your brand’s fonts, colors, and layouts.
