OneLink QR Code Personalisation is a feature in AppBrew Studio that allows brands to generate branded, customisable QR codes and deep links that direct users to specific pages within their mobile app. Powered by AppsFlyer's OneLink technology, these QR codes are smart enough to detect a user's device and route them to the right destination — whether that's the App Store, the Play Store, or directly to a specific in-app page if the app is already installed.

What It Does

OneLink QR codes go beyond standard download links. Brands can:

  • Personalise the QR code visually — customise colours and add a brand logo to match their identity

  • Generate and copy QR code URL — use the link independently across email, SMS, social media, or any other marketing channel

This makes the feature useful both as a visual asset (printed on packaging or displayed on a website) and as a functional marketing tool (embedded in campaigns).

How It Works

When a user scans the QR code or taps the OneLink URL, the system automatically detects their device and routes them accordingly:

  • App not installed — iOS users are sent to the App Store; Android users are sent to the Play Store

  • App already installed — Users are taken directly to the specific in-app page configured, skipping the home screen entirely

This ensures the smoothest possible experience regardless of where the user is in their journey.

How to Set It Up

  1. Navigate to App Links — Click on the More tab in the top navigation bar in AppBrew Studio, then select App Links.

  2. Select OneLink — From the App Links section, click on OneLink to view all your existing OneLink configurations.

  3. Open the QR code for your OneLink — Find the OneLink for which you want to customise a QR code, and click the QR code icon on the right.

  4. Customise your QR code — Personalise the appearance of your QR code to match your brand:

    • Background colour — Set a custom colour for the background of the QR code.

    • Foreground colour — Set a custom colour for the QR code pattern itself.

    • Centre logo — Toggle the option to display your brand logo in the centre of the QR code, making it instantly recognisable.

  5. Copy the URL — Once you're satisfied with the design, click Copy URL to copy the raw URL for the code to your clipboard.
