Integration Overview

LimeChat brings conversational commerce directly into your Appbrew storefront, allowing your customers to engage with your brand over WhatsApp without leaving the shopping experience. The embedded widget delivers automated answers to common questions, personalized product recommendations, and instant order updates—escalating to a live agent when needed for deeper support.

Webview-Based Integration

The LimeChat chat widget loads within a WebView component on your storefront, providing a seamless in‑page chat experience that mirrors WhatsApp conversations.

Features Supported in This Scope

• Embedded Chat Widget: Instantly load the LimeChat interface inside your storefront without redirects.

• Dynamic Sender ID: Automatically assign each visitor a unique identifier from Appbrew’s session data, ensuring personalized conversations.

• Automated Chatflows: Handle FAQs, product lookup, and order status inquiries with pre‑configured bot scripts.

• Live Agent Handover: Route complex or high‑priority queries to human agents via LimeChat’s dashboard.

• Contextual State Integration: Leverage Appbrew’s runtime state (cart contents, user profile) to tailor chatflow messages in real time.

Limitations / Out of Scope

• No Full Chat History in Appbrew: Conversation logs and analytics remain in the LimeChat dashboard.

• Widget Styling Controls via LimeChat: Customizing the look and feel must be done on the LimeChat platform, not within Appbrew.

• No Native Fallback: If a user ID from Appbrew isn’t available, the system falls back to analytics.getInstanceId(); without either, the widget cannot load.

• No Native SDK or Deep‑Link Support: Mobile SDK features and direct deep links are not covered in this integration.

Access & Credentials Required

To complete setup, we will need:

• Production:

  • Website Token from LimeChat

  • Optional: Custom baseUrl if different from default

  Staging (if applicable):

  • Test Website Token (if required)

  Default URL format: https://app.limechat.ai/widget?website_token=YOUR_TOKEN&source_sender_id={{sender_id}}
