Setup Instructions

Shopify Discounts in the App

• Supported: All discounts created via Shopify.

• Requirement: Enable the Appbrew sales channel for the discount.

• Limitations: Shopify Checkout Functions may not work if they rely on custom cart attributes.

Types of Discounts Supported:

• Order Discounts: Apply on total cart value (percentage or fixed).

• Product Discounts: Apply on selected products (percentage or fixed).

• Free Gift with Purchase: Auto-add gift products based on criteria.

• Bundle Discounts: Offer product bundles at a flat price.

Discount Conditions Supported:

Following are the conditions available, the exact may vary based on particular discount types -

• Minimum cart value

• Minimum quantity of items in cart

• Specific product/collection in the cart

• Specific customer segments

• Toggle Allow combination with other discounts to allow stacking with:

  • Product Discounts

Q: Does Appbrew support checkout functions created on Shopify?

A: All discounts created using the Shopify checkout function might or might not work in the app depending on the logic of the checkout function. In the scenarios where discounts depend on any custom attribute being present in the cart then they will not work

Q: Will a Shopify discount link automatically apply a discount when opened in the app?

A: No, Shopify discount links do not currently deep link into the app or auto-apply discounts.

Q: Can discounts be scheduled?

A: Yes, discounts can be scheduled and their active status can be managed through the dashboard.
