Feature Overview
The Product Add-ons feature lets you offer additional products alongside a main product on its detail page — like accessories, services, or complementary items. Customers can choose these extras before adding the main item to their cart. This makes it easy to boost average order value and offer bundled buying experiences.
Add-ons appear directly on the product page and are linked to the main product in the cart, making checkout seamless and organized.
Configuration
The Product Add-ons feature is currently configured by our team and is not yet available for self-serve setup in the dashboard.
However, here’s what’s possible through configuration:
Choose when to show add-ons: Add-ons can appear only for certain products, based on product tags (e.g., only sarees show “blouse stitching”).
Decide which add-ons to offer: You can pick specific products (by product handle) to appear as add-ons — like “petticoats,” “extended warranties,” or “extra toppings.”
Customize the look: The styling of the section can be tailored to match your store’s theme (colors, spacing, etc.).
Set titles and taglines: Add-ons can include a short description or tagline under each item, helping explain their value.

Troubleshooting / FAQ
Can I control which products show add-ons?
Yes — add-ons are shown based on product tags. Our team can help configure this for your catalog.
Can I let customers choose variants for the add-on product (like size or color)?
Yes — add-ons support both single-variant and multi-variant products. If the add-on has variants, customers will be able to select them before adding to cart.
Will add-ons be shown as separate items in the cart?
No — add-ons are linked to the main product as “child” items, so they remain grouped together in the cart and order summary.
What happens if an add-on goes out of stock?
If an add-on is unavailable, it will automatically be hidden or marked as unavailable to the customer.
Can I change the price or title of an add-on?
The title comes from your product catalog, and the price is displayed automatically based on the selected variant. If you'd like to customize them, we can help update the product details.
Is this feature available in my dashboard?
Currently, the Product Add-ons feature is not self-configurable in the Studio dashboard. Please contact our support team to enable or change your add-ons.
