What is native Appbrew wishlist feature?

The wishlist feature in your Appbrew-powered mobile app allows your customers to save products they love — so they can come back and purchase them later. This improves the shopping experience and helps you drive more repeat visits and conversions.


Why should you use wishlist?

  • Increases conversions: Customers often buy later from their wishlist.

  • Boosts engagement: Gives users a reason to return to the app.

  • Supports marketing campaigns: You can target users based on what they’ve wishlisted.


How it works

  • When a customer taps the "Add to Wishlist" button in the app, that product is saved to their wishlist.

  • Customers can view, manage, or remove items from their wishlist anytime within the app.


🔔 Event tracking for marketing

Whenever a customer adds an item to their wishlist, the app automatically sends an ADD_TO_WISHLIST event. This event can be used in your marketing tools for smarter campaigns.

This data is sent to GA and all your integrated CRMs:

  • Google Analytics (GA) – for tracking wishlist behavior

  • Klaviyo – for email and SMS campaigns (e.g., “Remind me later” or price drop alerts)

💡 Example: You can create a campaign to send a push notification when a wishlisted item is back in stock or on sale!


📲 How the data is stored

  • Wishlist items are saved locally within the app — this makes it super fast and responsive for your customers.

  • If you use third party integrations like Wishlist Plus/Flits then data is synced with servers


🔄 Syncing with website wishlist

If your Shopify store uses a wishlist app on the website (like Wishlist Plus or Flits), we can sync the wishlist across app and web.

This means:

  • Customers can access their wishlist on both mobile and web.

  • A seamless experience across all platforms.
