Themes use Blocks to create your ideal layout. Using Blocks provides more flexibility in how you arrange your app's content, enabling you to control the look and feel of your app without the need to edit code.

In our theme editor, you can:


View blocks on a screen

When you open Appbrew's theme editor, your app's home page loads by default. You can click on Home and see the Blocks being used on the Home screen.


Add a block

When you navigate to a screen, you will see a + icon on the left. Once you click on it, you will be able to see all of the design blocks. You can select any block and it will get added to the screen.

Changes in your theme will only reflect once you click the Publish button. It will be reflected in the app in real-time.


Edit a block

When you click on a block, depending on the block type, you will see different configuration options. Every block will have two tabs:


Duplicate a block

You can duplicate a block by clicking on it where you will see the option.


Hide a block

You can temporarily hide a block from the app by controlling its visibility. On the left panel, you will have the option to toggle the block's visibility


Delete a block

To delete a block, when you click on it, you will see the option on the right panel under Block settings.


Control ordering of blocks on a screen

You can easily control the ordering of blocks on a screen as per your requirements. From the left panel, you can simply hold, drag, and re-order.
