AppBrew supports OTP (One-Time Password) login for your mobile app using SMS providers. This adds an extra layer of security by requiring users to enter a code sent to their mobile number during the login process.

Requirements

• Currently, AppBrew integrates with the following SMS providers for OTP login:

  • MS91

  • TrustSignal

  • Valuefirst

  You will need to sign up for an account with one of these providers to enable OTP login in your app.

• Only for Shopify Plus merchants - Multipass token from Shopify 📄 Enable multipass login on the Shopify Store. It is a token generated by Shopify to enable third-party logins on the app without updating customer account credentials or data.

Credentials required from specific SMS providers

For every provider, an approved message template with one OTP variable is required.

For example: “Hi, Your app code is. {{OTP}}”, Here {{OTP}} is the message variable that will contain the one-time code for the user.
